In 1924, Republican presidential candidate Calvin Coolidge organized The Lincoln Tour, a 56-day, cross-country road rally of 100,000 automobiles that was designed to be a continuous political parade along the Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental road for automobiles in the country. This is a photograph of a truck from the Calvin Coolidge and Charles Dawes campaign's Lincoln Tour.

Daiber (1919-2003) and his wife Joanne Currier Daiber (1927-2007) were two of the first marine scientists hired by the University of Delaware in the 1950s. The Franklin C. and Joanne Currier Daiber papers include correspondence, photographs, negatives, artwork, and publications documenting their personal relationships and professional research and scholarship as marine scientists at the University of Delaware in the mid-twentieth century.

Professor Emeritus of marine studies Franklin C. Daiber (1919-2003) and his wife Joanne Currier Daiber (1927-2007) were two of the first marine scientists hired by the University of Delaware in the 1950s. The Franklin C. Daiber botanical slides comprise hundreds of images of various flower and plant specimens photographed by Dr. Daiber in the mid-Atlantic region from 1975-1999.

En Passant archive
The En Passant Archive, spanning the dates 1970 – 1983, is the archive of the little poetry magazine En Passant, edited by James Costello in Wilmington, Delaware. The 1.3 linear feet of material in the collection consists of letters from contributors, administrative correspondence, little magazines, including twelve issues of En Passant, and the manuscripts of most of the thirteen issues of the magazine published between 1975 and 1983.
